There are four types of conjuncts letter in Hindi. They are as follows :-

1. Vertical-lined letters,
2. Circular letters,
3. Right-curved letters, and
4. Special type-र letter.

These types of द consonants of the 2nd group end otherwise than in vertical line (no vertical line). These type of letters are shown below.

2. When Circular letters become conjunctions a little slant (हलंत) is used below.

E.g

1. द् + य = द्य - पद्य - Poetry
2. द् + म = द्म - पद्मा - Lotus
3. ट् + ठ = ट्ठ - चिट्ठी - Letter
4. ड् + ढ = ड्ढ - बुड्ढा - Aged
5. ङ् + ग = ङ्ग - सङ्ग - With
6. ट् + ठा = ट्ठा - मट्ठा - Whey
7. द् + द = द्द - गद्दी - Padding
